LexiAI is an independent legal-information technology project originally created for use in the United States and later expanded to cover additional jurisdictions. The website and covered assistants are operated and published by Ventsislav Asparuhov. These Terms apply to lexiai.org and to each legal-information chatbot, GPT, plugin, or related assistant that expressly identifies these Terms as applicable to it. A covered assistant may use its own product name and need not be separately displayed on lexiai.org. Together, these are the LexiAI Services.
A LexiAI assistant may focus on the law of Canada, the United States, a European, Asian, South American, or African jurisdiction, or another legal system. The jurisdiction-specific description and limitations shown with each assistant form part of these Terms.
By using a LexiAI Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the LexiAI Service. When an assistant is used through OpenAI, the applicable OpenAI terms, policies, account rules, and workspace controls also apply. If you use a managed business, education, or enterprise account, your organization's rules may also apply.
You must be legally permitted to use the platform through which you access a LexiAI Service. When using an OpenAI product, you must satisfy OpenAI's minimum-age and parental-permission requirements. LexiAI Services are not directed to children under 13.
LexiAI Services provide general educational legal information, legal research assistance, and help organizing questions. They do not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, representation, or a guaranteed prediction of a court, tribunal, regulator, government body, or other decision-maker.
LexiAI is not a law firm, lawyer, paralegal, notary, immigration representative, tax adviser, government service, or emergency service. Use of a LexiAI Service does not create a lawyer-client, solicitor-client, fiduciary, confidential, or other professional relationship with LexiAI or its publisher. Communications are not protected by legal professional privilege merely because they concern a legal matter.
· AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or based on a misunderstanding of the facts.
· Law varies by country, state, province, territory, municipality, subject matter, procedure, date, court, and factual context.
· A citation, quotation, translation, deadline, or link may be incorrect or may not reflect the law applicable on the relevant date.
· An assistant cannot assess credibility, authenticate evidence, investigate facts, manage a case, file documents, appear in proceedings, or act on a user's behalf.
· Availability of web research, official sources, files, or other tools may differ by platform, plan, location, and conversation.
Verify important information against current official sources and obtain advice from a qualified professional authorized in the relevant jurisdiction before acting or deciding not to act.
Do not rely on a LexiAI Service as the sole source for a matter involving personal liberty, safety, immigration status, criminal allegations, family or child protection, health, housing, employment termination, tax, financial rights, court or administrative proceedings, limitation periods, filing deadlines, appeals, detention, removal, or another serious consequence.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service. If a deadline or proceeding may apply, contact a qualified professional or the responsible court, tribunal, regulator, or authority immediately.
You are responsible for the facts and documents you choose to provide, for reviewing the output, and for deciding whether professional advice is required. State the relevant jurisdiction and date, distinguish assumptions from known facts, and do not omit facts that could materially change an analysis.
Use hypothetical or redacted information whenever possible. Do not submit passwords, authentication secrets, government identifiers, payment-card information, protected health information, unredacted confidential files, privileged communications, or information you are not authorized to disclose.
You may use LexiAI Services for lawful personal, educational, professional, and research purposes. You must not use them to facilitate fraud, evasion, deception, forged documents, harassment, unlawful discrimination, infringement, unauthorized access, concealment of evidence, interference with justice, or another illegal or harmful activity. You must not present AI output as an official government statement, a court decision, or advice personally issued by a licensed professional.
The LexiAI Privacy Policy explains processing controlled by LexiAI. OpenAI and other platforms process information under their own privacy notices, terms, and settings. LexiAI cannot promise confidentiality or privilege for content entered into a third-party AI platform. Review the relevant platform's data controls before submitting personal, confidential, or legally sensitive information.
LexiAI does not sell goods or services, process purchases, initiate subscriptions, or process payments through the covered legal assistants. The assistants do not serve advertising. Access to an OpenAI product may remain subject to OpenAI's own availability, account, workspace, and plan requirements.
The LexiAI name, logos, website design, assistant instructions, and original publisher-created materials are owned by or licensed to the publisher. Statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, government materials, and third-party sources remain subject to their own legal status, licences, and official-source terms.
You retain any rights you have in information you submit. Rights relating to prompts, uploads, and output created through OpenAI products are governed by the applicable OpenAI terms and law. These Terms do not claim ownership of user inputs or rights that the publisher does not possess.
LexiAI Services may be delivered through OpenAI and may link to courts, legislatures, regulators, publishers, or other external resources. LexiAI does not control third-party services, account access, availability, data practices, or content. A link is provided for research or convenience and does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee that the source is complete or current.
A LexiAI Service may be corrected, updated, suspended, withdrawn, or discontinued. Features may depend on third-party platform capabilities and regional availability. LexiAI may restrict support or withdraw publication where necessary to protect security, comply with law, address misuse, or maintain service quality.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LexiAI Services and related information are provided as is and as available without warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LexiAI and its publisher are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from use of or reliance on a LexiAI Service, inability to access it, or reliance on third-party content. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections and liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where non-excludable, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or another non-excludable ground.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without excluding mandatory rights, remedies, choice-of-law protections, or jurisdiction available to a consumer under the law of the consumer's habitual residence. Nothing in these Terms requires a person to waive a non-waivable right under Canadian, European, United Kingdom, United States, or other applicable law.
LexiAI may update these Terms prospectively when services, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published on lexiai.org. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice where required. Continued use after the effective date of a validly notified update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Questions about these Terms or a LexiAI Service may be sent to lexiaibot@gmail.com. Use the subject Plugin Support for functionality questions, Privacy Request for privacy rights, or Security Report for a suspected security issue. Support does not provide legal advice or manage legal deadlines.
